Planable Pricing 2026: Per-Workspace Costs, Limits and an Honest Review

Planable pricing in 2026 is per workspace, not per user. Basic costs $39 per workspace per month ($33 billed yearly), Pro costs $59 ($49 billed yearly), and Enterprise is custom. Every plan has unlimited users, so the number that drives your bill is how many clients, brands or locations you manage, not how many people log in.

We checked Planable's pricing page on October 19, 2026, and every price and limit below comes from it. If you are still choosing a tool, our Planable, Loomly and Kontentino alternatives guide compares the options side by side. This page sticks to what Planable costs, what each plan limits and whether it is worth it.

How Much Does Planable Cost Per Workspace?

Third-party articles often show different prices for the same plan, and some older ones still quote per-user tiers, so check the date on any figure. A workspace, in Planable's words, is a dedicated space for one client, brand or location. It holds its own pages, calendar, team, campaigns and approval flow, so nothing gets mixed up between brands. Planable recommends one workspace per brand or client. Prices are in US dollars and do not include taxes.

Prices checked October 2026. All limits are per workspace, and users are unlimited on every plan.

The yearly toggle is labelled "2 months free". On the card prices the saving works out to $72 a year on Basic (12 x $39 = $468 monthly, against 12 x $33 = $396 yearly) and $120 a year on Pro (12 x $59 = $708, against 12 x $49 = $588). Per workspace. Multiply by your client count.

Basic ($39 a month, $33 yearly)

Basic is the entry plan, and it already covers a lot. You get 60 posts per workspace per month, unlimited users, 4 social pages per workspace, feed and calendar views, 3 campaigns per workspace and the MCP connector, which lets your AI assistant create and manage content across your workspaces. Approvals are limited to None and Optional.

Basic fits a single brand or a small agency with relaxed clients, where approvals are a courtesy rather than a gate. It is where you start, but the missing pieces show up quickly: no Required approval, no Grid view, no team-only draft posts, no bulk approval and no public API.

Pro ($59 a month, $49 yearly)

Pro is marked "Most popular" on the pricing page. It raises the limits to 150 posts, 10 social pages and 10 campaigns per workspace, and adds Required approvals, Grid view and the public API on top of the MCP connector.

The comparison table on the pricing page lists more that starts at Pro: team-only draft posts, team-only notes, bulk approval, bulk request for approval, syncing previous content, chat support, 30 days of version history (Basic has 1 week) and unlimited tweet publishing. If you run client approvals where a post must be signed off before it goes live, Pro is the first plan that enforces it.

Enterprise (custom pricing)

Enterprise is sold through a demo. It has unlimited posts, multi-level approvals (stack steps such as team lead, client and legal, and posts publish only after everyone signs off), all four views including List, unlimited campaigns, SSO, a dedicated account manager, personalized onboarding, priority support and 24 months of published-post storage. It also pays by bank or wire transfer, and it includes the Analytics and Social inbox add-ons. Social listening remains a paid add-on. Planable says that teams with more than 5 workspaces can ask for a volume discount.

Hidden Costs and Limits to Check Before You Pay

The plan price is the start of the bill. These are the limits that decide which plan you need.

Posts per workspace per month. Basic allows 60 and Pro allows 150, counted across all pages in the workspace, with the counter resetting on the 1st of each month. A LinkedIn-first client posting three times a week creates about 13 posts a month (3 x 52 / 12), so 60 is plenty for one channel. The limit bites when a workspace feeds several networks. The pricing page does not say how a post that goes to several pages is counted, so test that during the free posts.

Social pages per workspace. Basic allows 4, Pro 10 and Enterprise 50, and you can connect several pages from the same platform. A B2B client with a company page, three executive profiles and an X account is already past the Basic limit of 4 if each connected account counts as a page. Check how Planable counts personal profiles when you test.

Approval types. None and Optional on Basic, Required on Pro, multi-level on Enterprise. Optional approval means the post can still go out without sign-off. If a client's legal team needs a hard gate, that workspace needs Pro or above. The pricing page does not say whether you can mix plans across workspaces, so ask before you plan an agency stack around it.

X publishing. Basic publishes 1 tweet per 24 hours. Pro and Enterprise are unlimited. During the free trial there is no X publishing at all.

Version history and storage. Version history is 1 week on Basic and 30 days on Pro. Media storage is 10GB on Basic and 50GB on Pro. Published posts are archived after 13 months on both plans.

Onboarding. Some third-party reviewers mention a one-time onboarding fee. Planable's pricing page does not list one, so ask before you sign if you go through sales.

Planable Add-Ons: Analytics, Social Inbox and Social Listening

All three add-ons are billed per workspace per month, and you can enable them workspace by workspace. Analytics and Social inbox include a 30-day free trial, available once you are on a paid plan.

  • Analytics: $14 a month, or $12 billed yearly. It includes page-level insights, post-level metrics, audience insights, best time to post, competitor analytics and client-ready reports. Analytics works for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok and Google Business Profile.
  • Social inbox: $9 a month, or $7.50 billed yearly. A unified inbox for comments and DMs with AI-suggested replies and sentiment sorting. Comments are covered for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok, and DMs for Facebook and Instagram.
  • Social listening: $99 a month, or $82.50 billed yearly. It tracks 1 brand and 3 topics per workspace, with mentions, sentiment analysis and exports via CSV, MCP and API.

So the real monthly price of a workspace with analytics and a comment inbox is not $39 or $59. On Pro, billed monthly, it is $59 + $14 + $9 = $82. Billed yearly it is $49 + $12 + $7.50 = $68.50. Analytics and the inbox are included on Enterprise.

What Does Planable Cost for Your Situation?

Here is the arithmetic for five common setups, using only the list prices above.

  • Solo consultant with one brand: one workspace. Basic is $39 a month, or $33 billed yearly ($396 a year). Pro is $59, or $49 yearly ($588 a year).
  • Three-person team on one brand: still one workspace, because users are unlimited. The price does not change when the team goes from one person to three. Basic is $39 a month ($33 yearly). Choose Pro at $59 ($49 yearly) if you need Required approval or more than 4 pages.
  • Agency with 5 clients on Basic: 5 x $39 = $195 a month, or 5 x $33 = $165 billed yearly ($1,980 a year).
  • Agency with 5 clients on Pro, with analytics and the inbox for every client: monthly, 5 x ($59 + $14 + $9) = 5 x $82 = $410. Yearly, 5 x ($49 + $12 + $7.50) = 5 x $68.50 = $342.50 a month, or $4,110 a year.
  • Agency with 10 clients on Pro: 10 x $59 = $590 a month, or 10 x $49 = $490 billed yearly ($5,880 a year). Add analytics and the inbox to all ten and the yearly figure becomes 10 x $68.50 = $685 a month ($8,220 a year). At this size, ask about the volume discount and the Enterprise add-on bundle.

One more line for brands that want social listening: one Pro workspace with listening is $59 + $99 = $158 a month, or $49 + $82.50 = $131.50 billed yearly.

The pattern is simple. Planable is cheap for few workspaces and a big team, and it scales linearly with the number of clients or brands. A solo creator pays for collaboration features they do not use. An agency with ten clients pays for ten of everything.

Is There a Free Version of Planable?

There is no permanent free plan, but there is a generous free trial. The first 50 posts are free in total, with no time limit and no credit card required. The 50 posts do not reset monthly, so when they are used up, you need to upgrade to keep publishing. X publishing is not available during the trial, and the Analytics and Social inbox add-ons can only be tested on a paid plan (each has a 30-day free trial).

Because the trial is measured in posts rather than days, you can run a real test: connect a real client, draft real posts, send them through an approval and see if the process works for the people who have to sign off.

Billing details from the pricing page:

  • Payment is by debit or credit card through Stripe. Enterprise can pay by bank or wire transfer.
  • You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel any time from the Billing Dashboard. On an annual plan, cancelling mid-cycle keeps access until the end of the billing period.
  • Planable says it offers discounts for non-profits through its support team.

Planable for Teams and Agencies

This is the audience Planable is built for. Unlimited users per workspace means you can invite clients, freelancers and stakeholders without paying more. Each workspace has its own timezone, approval flow, posting time slots, labels and post templates, so one client can need three sign-offs and another none.

On the cost side, the model rewards agencies with few, large accounts and punishes those with many small ones. Ten small clients on Basic is 10 x $39 = $390 a month ($330 billed yearly), before add-ons and before you discover that one client needs Required approval. The trade-off is that the bill is easy to predict: it is the number of clients times a known price.

Planable Review: What It Does Well

What is Planable?

Planable is a content planning and approval tool for teams. You draft in a visual feed or calendar, collaborate with comments, annotations and suggested edits, route posts through approval, and publish to nine networks. It also supports "universal content", meaning newsletters, blog posts and ads that are planned and approved in the same place.

Real strengths:

  • Per-workspace pricing with unlimited users. No seat counting, and clients can review for free.
  • Collaboration and approvals. Comments, text annotations, suggested edits, version history, and approval types that scale from none to multi-level.
  • Breadth. Scheduling for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, Google Business Profile and Threads in one calendar.
  • Workspace separation. Settings, campaigns and approval flows are per client or brand.
  • AI and automation basics on every plan. AI post rewrite and generation, first comment scheduling, recurring posts, a built-in media editor, Zapier, Canva and Slack integrations, plus the MCP connector.
  • A real free test. 50 posts, no card, no time limit.

Planable Review: Where It Falls Short

  • The workspace multiplier. Every client is another $33 to $59 a month before add-ons. Add-ons multiply too: analytics, inbox and listening each repeat per workspace.
  • Required approval starts on Pro. Basic offers Optional approval only, so a hard sign-off gate means paying $20 more per workspace per month (Pro at $59 against Basic at $39).
  • Limits on Basic. 60 posts, 4 pages, 3 campaigns, 1 week of version history and 1 tweet per 24 hours. Fine for one quiet brand, tight for a busy one.
  • Core features sit behind add-ons. Analytics and the comment inbox are not part of Basic or Pro. If your clients expect reporting, the add-on is part of the real price.
  • Analytics coverage. Analytics covers six networks, and X, Pinterest and Threads are not among them.
  • Generic AI on the page. The pricing page lists AI post rewrite and generation, but it does not list a knowledge base or learning each person's own writing style. If your posts have to sound like specific people, check how much editing the drafts need.
  • No advertised feed for engaging with other people's posts. The social inbox covers comments and DMs on your own pages. The pricing page does not list a feed of people you want to reach.

Is Planable Worth It in 2026?

It depends on who is paying.

  • Agency with several clients: Likely yes, if your clients review visually and across many networks. Planable's whole design is for this. Run the cost model above first, and ask about the volume discount past 5 workspaces.
  • Multi-brand company or multi-location business: Yes, for the same reasons. Workspaces map neatly to brands and regions.
  • Solo creator or founder on LinkedIn: Probably not the best fit. You pay for collaboration and approval tooling you do not need, and the AI on the page is generic.
  • Enterprise with legal or compliance gates: Worth a demo. Multi-level approvals and SSO are what that plan is for.

Use the 50 free posts as a real test. Connect a real client, send three posts through approval, and see if the people who sign off use it without a reminder.

When Postiv Is the Better Fit

Planable is a multi-platform suite built around approvals. Postiv is built for LinkedIn-first B2B teams, founders and agencies, with X as a second channel, that need content created in each person's own voice and the workflow around it. If you do not need a many-network suite or social listening, the difference comes down to these points.

  • Content creation in each person's voice. Bob, Postiv's AI content partner, plans the posting week (one idea per slot, tied to content pillars, sources and last week's results) and drafts posts and carousels in each LinkedIn profile's own writing style, using a knowledge base built from your website, documents, YouTube, Notion and newsletters.
  • Carousels and infographics in the editor. Posts, carousels, images and infographics on your brand, with an editor, so there is no round trip to Canva.
  • Client workspaces and approval links. Each client gets a separate workspace with its own profiles, company pages, brand kit and writing styles. Clients review each post as it will look on LinkedIn through an approval link, with no Postiv account needed. See client workspaces for agencies.
  • Team management. Every profile and company page in one workspace, with roles, approvers per profile and a Team Hub. See team management.
  • Engagement. Every comment on every profile in one inbox, plus a feed of people you want to reach so you can comment on their posts.
  • Analytics. Reach, engagement and followers per post and per profile.
  • Official API only. Postiv publishes to LinkedIn personal profiles and company pages through LinkedIn's official API, with no Chrome extension, no browser automation and no automated connection requests or DMs.
  • MCP and API. Planable has an MCP connector too, so that is not what separates the two. Postiv's hosted LinkedIn MCP server works with Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and Claude Code, and there is a public REST API.

The honest split: pick Planable when you manage many networks for many brands and visual approval is the core job. Pick Postiv when the hard part is writing good LinkedIn content in the right voice, week after week, for several people or clients.

More Questions

How many workspaces do I need for five clients?

Planable recommends one workspace per client or brand, so five clients need five workspaces. At list prices that is 5 x $39 = $195 a month on Basic, or 5 x $33 = $165 a month billed yearly. On Pro it is 5 x $59 = $295 a month, or 5 x $49 = $245 billed yearly. Add-ons are billed on top, per workspace. Planable offers a volume discount above 5 workspaces.

Are Planable users unlimited?

Yes. Every plan includes unlimited users, so adding a teammate, a client reviewer or a freelancer does not change the price. What changes the price is the number of workspaces, the plan on each workspace and the add-ons you switch on.

Which approval types come with Planable Basic?

Basic includes two approval types: None, where you publish without any approval step, and Optional, where approvals are enabled but not required to publish. Required approval, where at least one approver must sign off before publishing, starts on Pro. Multi-level approvals are Enterprise only.

Are Planable add-ons billed per workspace?

Yes. Analytics, Social inbox and Social listening are all priced per workspace per month, and you can switch them on or off at the workspace level. Analytics and Social inbox are available on Basic and Pro, and are included on Enterprise. Social listening is available on every plan, including Enterprise.
