Free Content Pillar Generator for B2B LinkedIn
Paste your website or LinkedIn URL. Get 3 to 5 content pillars your buyers care about, each with two post angles you can write this week.
How it works
From URL to pillars in about 20 seconds.
The generator uses the same pillar engine Postiv uses when a new workspace sets up its first plan.
- 1
Paste a URL
Your company website, your LinkedIn profile or your company page. Add a sentence about your buyers if the page is thin.
- 2
Get 3 to 5 pillars
Each pillar ties what you know to a question your buyers ask, with a reason you can own it and two post angles.
- 3
Plan your weeks
Copy the pillars into your strategy, or let Bob in Postiv plan one post per posting day from them, every week.
What a content pillar is (and is not)
A content pillar is a recurring topic your posts keep returning to, chosen because your buyers care about it and you can speak on it with authority. Most B2B profiles need three to five. Together they decide what you are known for on LinkedIn.
A pillar is a topic, not a format or a mood. "How mid-size firms cut onboarding time" is a pillar. "Carousels", "behind the scenes" and "thought leadership" are not, because they do not tell you what to write about. The generator is prompted to avoid those.
For the full method, from buyer questions to a weekly rotation and a 30-day review per pillar, read the guide to choosing content pillars. FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a content pillar generator?
It reads what your business does and suggests the few recurring topics your posts should come back to. This one reads your website, LinkedIn profile or LinkedIn company page and returns 3 to 5 B2B content pillars. Each pillar has a one-line description, a note on why you can credibly own it, and two concrete post angles.
Is this content pillar generator free?
Yes. There is no signup and no email gate. You can generate 3 sets of pillars per day. Copy them into your strategy doc, or carry on in Postiv, where Bob plans every week of posts from your pillars.
Can I use my LinkedIn profile instead of a website?
Yes. Paste a LinkedIn profile URL (linkedin.com/in/...) or a company page URL (linkedin.com/company/...). LinkedIn does not share every profile publicly. If yours comes back thin, add a sentence about what you sell and who buys it, or paste your company website.
How many content pillars should a B2B business have?
Three to five. Three suits a narrow offer or a founder posting a few times a week. Five only makes sense when you have clearly separate areas of expertise and enough posts to keep each one alive. The generator picks the number that fits the evidence it finds.
What makes a good content pillar?
A good pillar passes four checks: your buyers care about it, you can credibly own it, it links to what you sell, and it can produce at least ten different posts. A pillar is a topic, not a format. "Pricing mistakes in SaaS" is a pillar; "carousels" or "personal stories" are not.
Should content pillars differ for a personal profile and a company page?
Usually, yes. A founder or consultant profile carries opinions, lessons and experience. A company page carries proof, product and customer stories. When a team posts, each profile should own different pillars so people do not repeat each other.
What should I do with my pillars once I have them?
Give each pillar a share of your posting days, rotate them across the week, and review each one after 30 days: posts, average impressions and engagement against your average. Keep what works, sharpen what is vague and retire what never lands.
