Drafts is the one place for everything you have started but not scheduled yet: posts, posts with images, and carousels. Anything Bob writes for you lands here automatically, so nothing gets lost when you close a chat.

Open and finish a draft

  1. Click Drafts in the sidebar.
  2. Find your draft. Cards are grouped under Today, Previous 7 days and Earlier, newest first. Each card shows the type (Post, Visual or Carousel), the title or first lines, when it was last changed and who wrote it.
  3. Click the card. It opens in the editor, with Bob's chat beside it.
  4. Edit it yourself or ask Bob for changes, then schedule it. See Schedule posts.
The Drafts page, grouped by when each draft was last changed.

Use the controls above the list to narrow it down.

  • All drafts, Posts, Visuals and Carousels switch between types. Visuals shows posts that have an image attached.
  • Search drafts looks through titles, text, author names and tags.
  • Filter by author starts on Me. Choose All authors, a teammate, or Postiv API to see drafts that came from tools such as Claude or the API.
  • Filter by LinkedIn profile limits the list to one profile. The default is All profiles.
Search, filter by author and filter by LinkedIn profile.

The counter at the right shows how many drafts are loaded. Click Load more drafts at the bottom to see older ones.

Start something new

Click New content at the top right. It opens a new chat with Bob. If you prefer to write a post by hand, open any chat and click Write post in the toolbar.

Delete a draft

  1. Click the bin icon on the right of a draft card.
  2. Confirm with Delete. The card says "This permanently removes the draft."

Deleting cannot be undone, so check the title first.

Other ways to reach your drafts

  • The Drafts button in the chat toolbar opens your drafts without leaving the chat.
  • On Home, an idea card with a draft shows Open draft.

Tips

  • Use Visuals when you want to find posts that still need their image checked.
  • Looking for a teammate's draft to review? Switch Filter by author to their name.

Common questions

Where did my draft go after I scheduled it?

Drafts only lists work that is not scheduled. A scheduled post moves to the Schedule page.

Why can I not click Schedule in the editor?

The Schedule button is switched off while your latest edits are still being saved. Edits save automatically, so wait a moment and it becomes available again.

Who can see my drafts?

By default the list shows only your own drafts (Me). Your teammates can switch Filter by author to see drafts from other authors in the workspace.

Drafts from Claude or the API show up here too. Why?

Posts created through MCP or the API land in Drafts and are labelled Postiv API, so you can tell where they came from.
