The Team Hub keeps your team's LinkedIn momentum visible: who posted, how much reach the team earned, who is on a streak. You can also hand everyone a topic to write about or a goal to chase.

Open Team in the sidebar. The hub has four tabs: Overview, Challenges & Briefs, Team Automation and Slack & Bob.

Check how the team is doing

The Overview tab. The numbers match the steps below.
  1. Open Team and stay on Overview.
  2. Read the four cards at the top: Posts this week, Team impressions, Active streaks and Avg engagement. Each compares with last week.
  3. Scroll to the Leaderboard. Choose This week, This month or All time from the menu on the right.
  4. Click a member to expand their numbers: Posts, Impressions, Engagement rate, Current streak and Reward points.

Avg engagement is reactions plus comments plus reposts, divided by impressions. A streak is the number of weeks in a row with at least one published post.

The leaderboard ranks people by points: posts ร— 100, plus 1 point per 100 impressions, plus engagements ร— 2, plus 50 for each streak week. Reward points from briefs and challenges are added on top.

To bring someone new in, click Invite Member at the top right. See Invite members and manage seats.

Send a brief

A brief gives the whole team a topic, an angle and an optional deadline. Each person writes their own post about it.

  1. Open the Challenges & Briefs tab.
  2. Click Create a Brief. Only owners and admins see this.
  3. Fill in the Title, a one-line Description (shown on the card) and the Brief for your team. Add context, the angle and the key points. Bob uses this text when a member starts writing.
  4. Optionally set a Deadline and Reward points (optional).
  5. Click Send Brief.
Owners and admins see both create cards.

Members see a Team brief card on Home with a Create post button, and the brief also shows in the Team Hub with Start writing. Either one opens a chat with Bob that already has the brief attached. On the brief card, View responses shows who has published and who has not started. Owners and admins can click Close brief when it is done.

Run a challenge

A challenge is a measurable goal for the team with a deadline.

  1. In Challenges & Briefs, click Create a Challenge.
  2. Enter a Title and Description.
  3. Choose the Outcome: Publish posts, React through Engage, Reach or Engagements.
  4. Set a whole-number Target, a Start date and an End date.
  5. Optionally add Reward points (optional), paid once to each teammate who reaches the target.
  6. Click Create Challenge.

Click View progress on a challenge to see how each member is doing. Once a challenge exists, owners and admins also get a Standard activity points switch that decides whether the normal score counts, or only reward points.

Automate likes on team posts

Teammates automatically like each other's posts after they go live, so every post gets early momentum.

  1. Open the Team Automation tab.
  2. Under Auto-like team posts, switch on Likes posts for profiles that should give likes.
  3. Switch on Receives likes for profiles whose posts should be liked.

A profile never likes its own posts. If one shows Reconnect LinkedIn to give likes, reconnect it first. Only admins can change these switches.

Plan comments and reshares on a post

When you schedule a post, an optional Team engagement section lets you line up teammates to join in.

  1. Open your post and click Schedule to get the Schedule LinkedIn Post window. For a post that is already scheduled, open it from the calendar. There the same section sits under After publication.
  2. Under Team engagement, click Add engagement. The form opens on Comment. Switch to Reshare at the top of the form if you want a reshare instead. In the list they appear as Team Comment and Team Reshare.
  3. Pick a teammate under Engage as.
  4. For a comment, write Their comment and set After this post goes live. For a reshare, set a Reshare date and time and optionally add Their thoughts (optional).
  5. Click Queue comment or Queue reshare.
Queue a Team Comment or Team Reshare for a scheduled post.

Queued items show a status such as Planned, Sent or Failed, and you can cancel one before it goes out. Your text is published exactly as written under that teammate's name, so agree on it with them first.

Connect Slack and Bob

In Slack & Bob, click Connect my Slack workspace and choose a Team channel. Invite Bob to that channel in Slack, then reload the channel list. Then switch on what you want:

  • New post published: a link when someone publishes.
  • Posting reminders: at 10:00 on each member's final posting day, who is behind their weekly goal.
  • Weekly recap: team results every Monday at 09:00.
  • Company mentions: an alert when someone @mentions a connected company page.

Set the Timezone, and use Slack identities to link each member to a Slack account so Bob can mention them. Changes save automatically.

Tips

  • Pair a brief with a challenge: the brief says what to write, the challenge says how many.
  • Turn on Posting reminders before the weekly recap. Reminders change behavior, recaps only report it.
