Create an infographic
Turn a framework, list or set of numbers into a single editable image that publishes as an image post.

An infographic is one tall image (1080 by 1350 pixels) that lays out an idea at a glance: a process, a comparison, a timeline or a grid of numbers. Unlike a carousel it is a single page, and it publishes to LinkedIn as an image post. Everything on it stays editable, so you can change the text and design at any time.
Create an infographic with Bob
- Click New chat in the sidebar and describe what you want to show. Frameworks, step-by-step processes, comparisons and stats work best.
- Share the details Bob should use. He only puts real data on an infographic, meaning figures and facts you give him or that he finds through research, never made-up numbers. If you want a company logo on it, name the company or give its website.
- Bob shows a card called Choose an infographic style ("Pick a design for this infographic"). Click the design you like. Designs are labelled Your default, Postiv library or Your saved template.
- Bob builds the infographic and opens it on the right. A single infographic holds up to four content sections, and most need only one or two.
You can also start from a post you already wrote. Open the post and, in the dashed area under the preview, click Generate Infographic. Bob turns that post into an infographic.
Change the text or the design
Ask Bob in the same chat ("make the headline shorter", "use a timeline instead"), or edit it yourself.
- Click any text on the page to edit it, or click a shape or image to move or restyle it.
- Use the panels along the top: Templates, Elements, Text, Uploads, Brand Kit, Layers and Properties.
- To change the design, open Templates and click another one. Choose Keep my text to move your words into the new design, then confirm with Magic apply.
- Use Undo and Redo if you change your mind. Edits save automatically.
While Bob is editing, the editor is locked and shows AI is editing · temporarily locked. Wait for it to clear before you click around.
Download or schedule
- Click PNG in the editor header (the download icon, titled Download PNG) to download the image. You will see "Preparing PNG…", then "Downloaded".
- Click Make a copy (the copy icon) to try a variation without touching the original.
- Click Schedule to publish it. LinkedIn needs text with every post, so write a caption in Post Content in the scheduling window. See Schedule posts.
Your infographic is also saved under Drafts.
Tips
- Start with the takeaway. Tell Bob the one thing the reader should remember, then let the layout support it.
- Keep each block short. If a number needs a paragraph to explain it, it probably belongs in the caption.
- Keep it on brand. Set up your colors, fonts and logo under Brand Kit in Settings, then apply them from the Brand Kit panel in the editor.
Common questions
What is the difference between an infographic and a carousel?
A carousel has several pages and publishes as a swipeable PDF. An infographic is one page and publishes as an image. See Create a carousel.
Can Bob use my own numbers?
Yes. Paste them into the chat, or tag a file with @ so Bob reads the figures from your Knowledge.
Why does it not have a page list?
An infographic is a single page, so there is nothing to reorder. Adding pages is only available on carousels.
